Lizardville. Population: Lizard

Cabilis is a piece of work, let me tell you.

First of all, it’s hot. Too hot. Second, it’s buggy and humid and dirty. Truth be told, I think I prefer the outdoor life to this.

Still, the dwarf and I were brought here for work, and there is indeed work to be had. The lizardfolk who run the place are accommodating enough, it seems. Though I did get the stink eye from one as we headed out this morning.

I’ve heard that there may be other adventurers, such as ourselves, doing various jobs out in the wild. Part of me wonders if there will be any tension between groups. It will be interesting to see how things will play out if this is the case.

Until we find more suitable lodgings, we’ll be operating out of the Haggle Baron, an inn near the northeastern gate. It’s not bad, but then again, we haven’t been around the city much.

I’ll be interested in seeing what kind of shops operate inside the walls. I’ll also be interested in how well they lock up at night, and how well the local guard responds to break ins.

I probably should hold off on pulling a heist in the middle of the night for a few days.
